What you can do
− You are responsible for the engineering, management and operation of our backup infrastructure, both on-prem and in the public cloud.
− You will further develop the on-prem infrastructure and evaluate and implement the cloud backup solutions.
− As an interface to other teams, you ensure that new requirements are implemented technically.
− You support colleagues at Swiss Post in the implementation of backup concepts.
− Working on projects or taking on sub-projects offers you varied tasks.
− You will drive forward automation, ensure day-to-day operations and share the on-call duty with the team.
− You will play an active role in Swiss Post's business continuity management (BCM).

What you bring with you
− You have more than 5 years of proven experience as an IT Backup Engineer.
− You have deep Commvault know-how
− You've heard of Commvault HSX,
− You have know-how of Linux (REHL) and Windows administration
− BCM is not only word with three letters for you
− You have some knowledge of hybrid deployment
− You have some know-how with cloud migration
− You are willing to do administrative and operational tasks for the backup environment
− You are already familiar with technologies such as M365, SAP HANA, RDS, Kubernetes, virtualization, Azure, AWS, LAN, firewalls, MS SQL or MySQL, NAS and object storage, and are interested in contributing your expertise in one or more of these areas.
− You work reliably, are flexible and team-oriented and can express yourself clearly and appropriately at different levels.
− You have worked in an agile framework with scrum or similar working methods
− Your willingness to work on-call rounds off your profile.

− You have completed a higher degree in computer science or business informatics (university of applied sciences).
