Function Description / Professional Tasks

As a Windows Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract, you’ll play a key role in supporting our teams, optimizing our Windows client environment, and driving the transition to modern workplace solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with support, workplace, and engineering teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and future-proof systems.

What you can do
− You provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support for the installation and uninstallation of software packages on Windows clients
− You assist our customers in introducing new applications and advise on the creation and optimization of software packages
− With your scripting and programming skills (e.g., PowerShell and/or C#), you automate processes and improve software distribution and post-processing
−  You ensure secure and efficient IT services by implementing digital certificates and encryption and continuously establishing new standards
− You share responsibility for key applications such as PDF solutions, Adobe Creative Suite, and various SaaS platforms
− You contribute your experience in building cloud services, develop innovative automation solutions, and design interfaces (API design) for a modern IT environment

Personal Skills and Education

What you bring
− You have solid knowledge of MSI technology and PowerShell and ideally experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Power Automate)
− You bring initial experience in building and operating cloud services as well as in IT support and application development
− You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills, work in a structured manner, and quickly grasp new topics
− Knowledge of programming small tools (e.g., in C# or another language) is desirable
− You are familiar with agile methods such as SAFe and Scrum and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment.
− You are characterized by high standards for your own work, team spirit, curiosity, and an independent, structured way of working

Language Skills
− Excellent German and English skills
− Optional: French or Italian
