Security is a critical foundation of our SAP landscape — from core ERP systems to modern cloud solutions.
As an SAP Security Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping, advising, and continuously improving the security of our SAP environment, working closely with technical, business, and security stakeholders across the organization.
What you can do
− Act as the central point of contact for SAP security topics, covering both cloud solutions (e.g. SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Ariba) and on-premise systems (e.g. S/4HANA, GRC)
− Proactively collaborate with project teams, operations, and the Agile Release Train (ART) to embed security early and effectively
− Define and develop security concepts for complex SAP landscapes, including security requirements, technical risk analyses, and security assessments
− Translate complex security topics into clear, understandable guidance for a broad range of stakeholders
− Work closely with the Information Security Officer (ISO), supporting risk identification, risk communication, and mitigation measures
− Advise authorization teams on secure role design, segregation of duties (SoD) analyses, and compliance requirements
− Contribute to and evolve the SAP security architecture, including policies, standards, and best practices
− Support audits, access reviews, and penetration tests, ensuring continuous compliance and improvement
− Drive a culture of security by design across SAP projects and operations
