Function Description / Professional Tasks

Logistics is the backbone of everything we do — and technology is what keeps it moving. Join our Logistics team and help design and run the platforms behind large-scale logistics operations. From building robust APIs to operating systems in production, you’ll play a key role in keeping goods, data, and processes flowing.

What you can do
− Design, develop, and maintain RESTful backend services supporting logistics and operational processes
− Contribute to the full software lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
− Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, with a strong focus on automated testing
− Operate and improve applications running in production environments, including monitoring and troubleshooting
− Collaborate closely with remote, cross-functional teams (engineering, product, platform)
− Work within agile methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement of ways of working
− Help evolve our cloud-native architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance

Personal Skills and Education

What you bring with you
− Experience in software design and development, ideally in a REST API context
− Solid understanding of automated testing practices
− Hands-on experience running and supporting applications in production
− Familiarity with agile ways of working
− Comfort working with remote teams, with strong communication and coordination skills

Tech stack: 
Java 21+, Spring Boot (Data, Web, Kafka), Kafka, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, AWS with Terraform, Kubernetes, and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and Dynatrace.

Education
− University/technical college degree in computer science or comparable.  

Language Skills
− English oral and written
− Optional: German oral (and written)

Additional Comments

− Willingness to travel
− Hybrid Model: One day a week @office (mandatory)
