We are looking for a committed and forward-thinking Data Engineer who is passionate about developing and optimizing modern data solutions.

What You Can Do:
− Develop and maintain an AWS-based data infrastructure and pipelines within a DevOps team
− Design, implement, and optimize Spark ETL processes to ensure efficient data processing and long-term operationalization of machine learning models
− Collaborate with data owners and analysts to build robust, reliable data pipelines
− Translate requirements into high-quality data products within our big data stack
− Drive automation and continuous improvement of our development stack
− Work closely with business stakeholders and architects, tailoring technical solutions to specific business needs

Personal Skills and Education

What You Bring:
− Strong expertise in Apache Spark, SQL, and Python
− Strong knowledge of Scala or Java and AWS analytics services (Glue, SageMaker, Athena, Lambda, Batch)
− Interest in CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and DevOps practices
− An agile mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous learning
− You are a committed, initiative personality
− You have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams 
− You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to act as a technical translator for non-technical stakeholders

Education
− Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Language Skills
− English oral and written
− Optional: German oral (and written)

Additional Comments

− Willingness to travel
− Hybrid Model: One day a week @office (mandatory)
