With you on board, Swiss Post's Data & Insights team shapes digital solutions. Impact data pipelines and build up our Data Catalog as a Senior Data Engineer!  

What You Can Do:
− Together with a DevOps team you are responsible to develop and maintain an AWS based data warehouse. 
− You will integrate diverse data sources into a unified Knowledge Graph to ensure consistent, high-quality metadata across the organization
− Thereby you take on the requirements analysis, you will design data products and implement them on our big data stack
− You are responsible for automation as well as for trouble-free operation and you continuously improve our development stack
− In this role you will work closely with business departments and the architecture

Personal Skills and Education

What You Bring:
− You have in-depth knowledge of data processing (Apache Spark, SQL, Python) in the context of Business Intelligence solutions
− Ideally you have already gained experience with software development and you know how to use AWS services (Glue, Athena, Lambda)
− You are growth minded and enjoy working in an agile environment and you are interested in CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps
− You are a committed, initiative personality
− You have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams 
− You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to act as a technical translator for non-technical stakeholders

Education: University/technical college degree in computer science or comparable

Language skills
− Fluent English, second language (German) is an advantage

Additional Comments

− Willingness to travel.
− Hybrid Model: One day a week @office (mandatory).
