Fullstack DevOps Engineer with Focus on Java / Angular

What you can achieve
− In the IT department of Logistic Services Operations, we take care of the systems that help our employees deliver millions of letters and parcels on time every day.
− Today, we use various tools for workforce planning. We are replacing these systems with custom-developed software.
− At the same time, we are introducing a system that automatically evaluates and records working hours and the related activities based on timestamps and metadata.
− As part of an agile DevOps team, you will develop innovative software solutions using the latest tools and frameworks.
− As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role within the interdisciplinary team and share responsibility for the successful implementation of the product with our internal customers (analysis, design, implementation, testing, operations).
− You enjoy learning from others and like to share your knowledge.

Personal Skills and Education

What you bring
− Automated testing, CI/CD, and monitoring are second nature to you, and you feel equally at home developing both frontend and backend.
− You are highly proficient with current technologies such as Java, Spring, Spring Boot, relational databases, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Angular.
− You also bring several years of AWS experience in a production environment and have worked with the following tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, GitOps, ArgoCD, OpenTelemetry, AWS X-Ray. 

Education
− You have a degree in computer science, preferably at university or university of applied sciences level, and/or several years of professional experience in a similar environment.

Language Skills
− English oral and written
− Optional: German oral (and written)

Additional Comments

− Willingness to travel
− Hybrid Model: One day a week @office (mandatory)
