Function Description / Professional Tasks
Join the PEDAS team, responsible for the master data management system within our banking solutions. PEDAS ensures customer and master data is consistent, highly available, and accurate.

What you can do
− Develop comprehensive test plans and test case outlining testing scopes, objectives and methodologies for the PEDAS-Core applications 
− Improve current test implementation and migrate automated tests to new CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment to production environment
− Implement automated tests in parallel to the development of new functionality in our applications
− Utilize automated testing tools to ensure thorough test coverage across different devices and platforms 
− Identify and document software defects, providing detailed information to developers for resolution 
− Work closely with developers and key stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure clear communication regarding issues and improvements 
− Actively participate in the improvement of the testing processes and tools to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness 
− Improve test coverage
Personal Skills and Education
What you bring with you
− Experience working in banking or a similarly regulated environment
− Solid background in embedded, automated testing with several years of hands-on experience (
 (JIRA, Cucumber/Selenium/Cypress/Java, or equivalents)
− Strong knowledge of database modeling and proficiency in writing SQL queries
− Sharp analytical thinking, effective communication skills, and a proactive, hands-on mindset
− Resilience, a solution-oriented attitude, and the drive to get things done
− Enthusiasm for working in a Scrum team and a continuous improvement mindset

− Good analytical and communication skills, hands-on mentality, and doer qualities, endurance 

Tools
− PlayWright, Citrus, Gitlab, Selenium, ReadyAPI

Education
− University/technical college degree in computer science or comparable.  

Language Skills
− English oral and written
− Optional: German oral (and written)
Additional Comments
− Willingness to travel
− Hybrid Model: One day a week @office (mandatory)
