ServiceNow Solution Designer

Function Description / Professional Tasks
You will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of customized solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Also, you will work closely with business units and technical teams to ensure that our solutions meet business needs and help improve IT service management processes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
− Requirements analysis and consulting:
Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and analyze business requirements.
Advice on best practices and innovative solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

− Solution design:
Development of tailor-made solution concepts on the ServiceNow platform based on the identified requirements.
Creation of design documentation, including process diagrams, data models and technical specifications.

− Implementation and development:
Configure and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
Develop scripts, workflows, business rules, and user interfaces to meet requirements.
Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and tools.

−Prototyping and testing:
Creation and presentation of prototypes and mockups to illustrate the solution.
Perform functional testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions work as expected.

− Documentation and training:
Creation and maintenance of detailed technical documentation and user manuals.
Conducting training and workshops for end users and administrators.

−Support and maintenance:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for implemented solutions.
Monitor and maintain ServiceNow applications to ensure high availability and performance.
Collaboration and communication.

− Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors.
Communicating progress and results to management and stakeholders.
Personal Skills and Education
Experience:
− At least 3-5 years of experience working with ServiceNow, including designing and implementing solutions.
− Experience configuring and developing ServiceNow applications.
− Proven experience working with business units and technical teams.

Knowledge and skills:
− Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its modules (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD).
− Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript as well as experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, AngularJS).
− Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
− Excellent communication and presentation skills.
− Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and work in a dynamic environment.

Education:
− Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. A master's degree is an advantage.


Certifications:
− ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
− ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is an advantage.
− ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for various modules is an advantage.
